This policy explains how Hungry Tum collects, uses and protects your personal data. Hungry Tum is operated by Shinkai Labs Ltd, trading as Big Appetite (“we”, “us”), the data controller. You can reach us at hello@hungrytum.co.

What we collect

We collect the information you give us when you request a Growth Score, join the waitlist, or contact us. This can include your name, email address, phone number and details about your restaurant. We also collect basic usage data through analytics and cookies, such as the pages you visit and the device you use.

How we use it

We use your data to reply to you, to provide the Growth Score and our services, to send updates you have asked for, and to understand and improve how the site works. We rely on your consent, our legitimate interest in running and improving the service, and, where relevant, on performing a contract with you.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run Hungry Tum, such as our email delivery, analytics and hosting providers, and only so they can perform those services for us. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to measure how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as we need it to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations, then we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete or transfer your data, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email hello@hungrytum.co. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
